North Dakota's only Master Certified Flight Instructor of Aerobatics, Michael Lents has taught students from around the world the art of aerobatic flight and aircraft control in all situations.

Mike started flying aerobatics in 2003 and began instructing students in aerobatic flight and spin recovery procedures in 2005. Since 2008, his instruction and coaching helped the UND Aerobatic Team achieve and maintain the top spot in the IAC Collegiate Series. He routinely achieves top postitions in IAC competition and pushes his students to do the same.

Currently, he is training as part of the 2018 US Advanced Aerobatic Team to compete against the World August 2018 in Romania.
